Evidence to support disability rights in Rwanda
THT produces research, policy briefs and reports to support our advocacy work. Our findings are shared with policy-makers, partners, the media and the public always in service of a more inclusive Rwanda.
Policy analysis and briefs
Reviews of existing policies and guidelines on community health insurance, SRHR, social protection (including Ubudehe) and district disability budgets. Policy briefs submitted to Parliament and ministries.
Research and case studies
Needs assessments, baseline surveys and case studies documenting the real experiences of persons with disabilities across Rwanda.
Budget tracking reports
Analysis of the health component of the national budget and tracking of disability funds allocated at district level.
UNCRPD parallel reports
In partnership with DPOs and coalitions, THT contributes to Rwanda’s parallel reporting on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
